NetEase Jiangsu: Huadong Security is a well-known manufacturer of speed difference automatic controllers (anti fall devices). May I ask, what are your company's technological advantages in the field of anti fall devices?

Zhang Binsen: The core technological advantage of East China Security is to produce and develop speed difference automatic controllers that are more suitable for the usage habits of Chinese people, balancing comfort and safety. And the proprietary progressive built-in buffering technology can efficiently and stably absorb the impact force of falling within a certain standard parameter range, and the core parameter detection results are comparable to world top brands. In addition, the successful trial production of the intelligent magnetic recycling style speed difference automatic controller this year has achieved a qualitative leap in product recycling effectiveness.

NetEase Jiangsu: In the past 30 years since the establishment of East China Security, what stages have been experienced in technology research and development? What are the unique advantages in talent and technology reserves?

Zhang Binsen: The speed difference automatic controller is one of the early fall protection products introduced overseas, and the company's chairman has also participated in the research and development of the first generation of products. In the nearly 30 years of development since its establishment, the company has gone through several stages: imitation from the beginning, continuous learning, research and development, absorption and understanding of products with similar functions, and complete innovation in recent years. During this period, the company was honored to participate in the drafting of the national standard GB24544-2009 "Fall Protection Speed Differential Control Device" and learned a lot from it.

As a technology-based production enterprise, the company has clearly planned its development from the early stages to focus on the field of fall protection. With the development and competition of the market, the company continuously "subtracts" on its product line. Until 2009, the company focused its research and development on the field of energy absorption, which is the core of the entire speed difference automatic control system. It can directly reflect the absorption of impact force, the stability of energy absorption, as well as the length and stability of falling distance, thus widening the gap between our product quality and other brands.

NetEase Jiangsu: Is there a process of domestic substitution in China's defense pendant market? What is the history of development?

Zhang Binsen: Compared to common consumables such as safety shoes, gloves, and clothing, the speed difference automatic control device is a very niche product in personal protective equipment. Even many dealers do not know how to properly regulate the use of this product.

We divide the use of speed difference self-control devices into three periods: the pre 2009 standard period, the post 2009 standard period, and the individual protective equipment standard period.

During the pre 2009 standard period, before the issuance of the 2009 national standard, the 1985 version of the standard was used. This standard only provides two sentences for speed difference controllers, which are simple product definitions and locking distance requirements. Therefore, before the implementation of the 2009 national standard, the market segmentation was relatively clear - high-quality customers only chose imported brands, while ordinary customers chose domestic brands. Because there is indeed a significant difference in product quality between domestic brands and imported brands, mainly in terms of buffer devices, domestic brands are at a significant disadvantage in competing with imported brands for high-quality customers, while domestic brands are still more in internal competition.

With the release and implementation of the 2009 national standard for speed difference automatic controllers as a separate standard (standard number GB24544-2009), the main technical parameters and standard requirements of this standard are in line with international standards, thus rapidly promoting the development of domestic speed difference automatic controllers. At the same time as the quality and market differentiation between domestic brands began, high-quality domestic speed difference controllers, after several years of effort, began to have the ability to replace with imported brands of the same quality. The top market and high-quality customers gradually began to accept and use high-quality domestic brands. But the biggest headache for the market is still the impact of inferior products on market development, and even many manufacturers are still producing and selling old national standard products (1985 version standards), using the advantage of price competition to affect the overall market of speed difference automatic controllers, completely disregarding the safety hazards that such products bring to users under the old standards, and also seriously affecting the positive development of speed difference automatic controllers.

With the implementation of a series of national standards for the provision of personal protective equipment, more enterprises have paid attention to the importance of fall protection, and have also attracted more manufacturers, traders, and foreign traders to enter this category. The competition between enterprises has also become more intense. Standardized manufacturers have accelerated the internal competition dimension of speed difference automatic controllers, upgrading from various dimensions such as quality, training, after-sales service, price, and appearance.

At the same time, the market demands increasingly high professionalism and capabilities from manufacturers and service providers, and products are often included in fall protection systems or overall solutions for packaging and sales. At present, high-quality domestic speed difference controllers can meet the needs of the vast majority of operating environments, and can replace imported brands in terms of quality. At the same time, they are gradually gaining more market share in the top market and high-quality customers.

NetEase Jiangsu: What are the future product research and development directions and technical challenges for East China Security?

Zhang Binsen: The company will continue to focus on the research and development of the functional structure of speed difference automatic controllers, making more attempts in new materials and processes, and providing suitable speed difference automatic controllers for application scenarios in different industries as much as possible, especially in some special, extreme, and harsh working environments. At the same time, the company will also continuously strive to improve the comfort of product use, making high-altitude operators more willing to proactively equip these protective equipment. In addition, we will also engage in more thinking and research and development on fixed suspension points, as the best functioning speed difference automatic controller without a suitable fixed suspension point will result in users not being able to use it, and the product's functionality and value will not be realized.
